ABOUT ME
Hi, its Dan
WHERE I COME FROM
Born and raised in Pennsylvania, it was always my dream to come out West. I credit my mother for taking me to Arizona at 15 years of age and confirming my desire to move to the beautiful desert Southwest. I had my amazing son Jayson at the young age of 19 and became a single dad for many years. In 2007, I met my beautiful wife Tracy at our job at the local Newspaper.
After raising my son and him moving out on his own, my wife and I decided to make the journey to Arizona to live out the rest of our lives.
A Career of Servitude
Growing up , I saw firsthand what servitude to your community looks like. I credit my father James Sulger with showing me civic pride. He was on countless boards in our little town of Quakertown and always was willing to give a hand to anyone who needed it.
I took that and ran with it. I decided on a career in behavioral health. I currently work with individuals who have experienced their first psychotic episode. I work hard to make sure they can have a normal, productive life.
I take community pride seriously as well. Being a member of the Lions Club, running my own volunteer organization named Cleaning Up Coolidge, & working on the Coolidge Centennial Committee last summer to promote our Centennial Celebration are all things that I have been working on since I moved out here. I want to continue to do anything and everything I can to make the city of Coolidge the best town in Arizona to live and prosper.
MISSION STATEMENT
Growth Meets Opportunity
Growth is inevitable. Its how you handle growth that will determine your cities future. I have seen how other towns and cities managed their growth and I learned what NOT to do .
My mission statement is simple
To lead Coolidge in a better direction that every resident deserves. Coolidge is one of the most unique towns in Arizona and we need to keep the rural feel while still providing adequate housing, retail & infrastructure for our residents.
